This project is designed to storytell the global data occurences using a sample size of 550 cities. Its purpose is to analyze how weather changes as one gets closer to the equator. To accomplish this analysis, I first pulled data from the OpenWeathermap API to assemble a dataset on the cities. After assembling the dataset, I used Matplotlib to plot various aspects of the weather against the city latitudes. Factors considered included temperature, cloudiness, windspeed and humidity, all explained in the drop down menu. This highly interactive site provides the source data and visualizations created as part of the analysis, as well as explanations and descriptions of any trends and correlations witnessed as at the 29th of September 2019.
